Staged homes, in general, sell faster and for a higher price than homes that have not been staged. Depending upon the condition of your home, the time to prepare your home for sale through staging, rather than listing your home on the MLS immediately, is often advisable. Staging is not at all the same as interior decorating. Staging is preparing your home to appeal to the largest number of buyers in your home's listing price range. With the advice of Pat, staging can take relatively little time and can be accomplished for minimal or no additional cost.
